The Surfy Spacebar by Slingerland

The Surfy Spacebar is our house version of the mini-Simms concept.
Handshaped by our local guru Mike Slingerland.
The Spacebar has foiled blended rails, single to double vee bottom, typically set as a quad.
The Spacebar is a “performance” mini-Simms and very user friendly backside.
This one is a custom for Matt who is the Corporate Program Administrator here at Surfy Surfy, Inc.

Jim Phillips Exotica Longboard

JPNR (Jim Phillips Nose Rider)
9’6″ x 23″ x 3″
Fabric inlay, pinlines, resin tint, gloss and polish.
The bottom features a huge 24” deep dish concave for lift that is perfectly paired with the long and low rocker which exits the tail with a slight kick.
The bottom contours aft of the concave show a subtle roll allowing it to softly settle into the wave.
Full, soft, 50/50 rails from nose to tail are foiled to keep some thickness up front while tapering in the rear for sensitivity.
And, this board will mix up a pitcher of Mai Tais while you listen to your Martin Denny record collection and build that Surfite model kit.

7’7″ Mitsven Gypsy

If you cruise by the shop on Sunday you should take a look at this 7’7″ Mitsven we have.
It’s a super clean Gypsy model.
It has pencil marks for a quad but ended up as a marine ply glass-on thruster which is A-OK.
Bob Mitsven is a San Diego legend. We don’t see these boards in north county that often so come fondle this one up. Trim/glide rocker and rails. I think it was glassed by the talented Michael Miller.
Tapered flex stringer, resin tint, glass loop.
Kinda used. A+ condition.
7’7″ x 22″ x 3 1/8″
14 3/8″ nose x 15 1/2″ tail
