For Sale: 6’0″ DK Swordfish Quad

Reese Lewis in New Smyrna beach Florida, moving some water on his 6’0″x20x2 1/2 DK Swordfish quad in knee high chop.

Shaper D.J. Kane sez, “I set out to make a fish that worked well in top to bottom surfing, but still had the fast, down the line, double pump blinding speed that helps it connect sections. This board does an off the top snap more like a shortboard than a fish. With a sleek, thinned out fish foil and modern performance bottom contours, it planes and drives off your front foot like that of a wider fish. The long continuous curve in the outline in the last 18″ of the tail makes for more stability in faster hollower waves and/or powerful rail surfing. Having no bumps or “wings” allows the rider to choose his turns more. Instead of water hitting wings and releasing it wraps the curve of the tail more and turns your back foot into a steering wheel. Letting you decide when and how tight of a turn you make depending on how much pressure you put on your tail.

For Sale: 6’2″ DK Dialer

The Moonlight Showroom has three DK Fishes in stock and a fourth in production. Today’s post features this supah hot 6’2″ DK Dialer,

6’2″length x 20 5/8″width x 2 5/8″ thickness. A very down-the-line, rippable board that can be ridden in a wide range of conditions from point surf to beach breaks, thigh high to well overhead.

“Slobjob” acid bottom paintjob by Peter St Pierre.

The Speed Dialer quad template created a mini-revolution in Fish surfing.

I put the Turbo Speed Dialer fins in this board. The Turbos are curved and work really well in steep/hollow surf. They eliminate the slide associated with quads. Some people swear by these fins and others don’t like them at all. Personally, I am a true believer, but whomever gets this board can put whatever fins they like in it.

The elusive lightweight Speed Dialer curved Turbo fins.

Surfy Surfy bro bro Justin demonstrates proper Speed Dialer/Turbo surfing.
