If you missed the first theatrical run of Dear & Yonder you can catch a free outdoor screening of it at the Patagonia store in Cardiff-by-the-sea.

Two shows: 6:30 pm & 8:00 pm (encore showing)
Art show reception: 7:30-9:30 pm,
Music by Tomorrow’s Tulips featuring Alex Knost.
Gallery space open all day from 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
(It is the opinion of Surfy Surfy that surfing should not be segregated by age, race or gender. However I hear that Dear & Yonder is a well crafted surf film so check it out).

Join Cardiff’s own Rob Machado for the final screening of the U.S. film tour for The Drifter. Machado will play a few songs with special guest John Swift at 7 pm, followed immediately by a screening of The Drifter.
This outdoor event is free, but donations for the Rob Machado Foundation will be gladly accepted at the door. Seating based on a first come first serve basis.

Used Board Swap Saturday Roundup

The back lot of Patagonia surf shop in Cardiff-by-the-sea on Used Board Swap Saturday.

I came soooo close to buying this little mysterious House of Paipo board with rope handles.
I see this dude everywhere.

*Thanks to everyone who came by and visited me and thanks to the peeps who bought boards. The event is going on tomorrow (Sunday) as well but I won’t be there. I’m spending Fathers Day at the beach (hopefully). It’s a cash only event so keep that in mind if you go on Sunday.
