March 15, 2012can he ever come up with his own ideas? clean board however, we’ve seen all his stuff before, by some else.
SGKO
March 15, 2012That is his own stuff…he shaped it right? Oh…you mean design concept…well wtf, when did it become an issue to repeat or re-interpret or re-do or outright copy a template that has already been done? Amd so fucken what if “we’ve” seen this before, from him, from anyone else…oh hey, you know what would be interesting?…post some of the boards you’ve shaped lately…oh, you don’t shape your own boards? Just criticize other peoples work? Ugh…you must be one of those jackass emo hipster weekend surfers…or maybe you don’t actually surf yourself, you just flip people shit for the work they put out and the stuff they create ‘cus you can’t come close to even being that creative or productive…yeah, you should just shut it…

March 16, 2012That’s ‘cus you are lame haole boy…it’s cemented in your attitude and your genetics…sounds like you had a few pitchers of loud mouth followed up by a couple of shots of Chuck Norris by the overly defensive and veiled tough guy response you’ve submitted…Yeah, you said the board was clean but that came off as a bit begrudging thus canceling whatever niceness you were vying for…but no worries haole boy, tell you what…you go ahead and continue to threaten people you don’t know on a blog (ie, people you most definitely can not stand up to in reality) if that makes you feel better about yourself ‘cus it will be the only stomping on loud mouths you’re ever going to do…who knows, you may get lucky one day and actually run into me…then you cold go ahead and prove how tough you are, tough guy…I still insist you post some of the boards you’ve allegedly shaped that are soooooo awesome and original…let’s at least see what you got in that department…lame ass haole boy.

March 17, 2012Too many losers in this world with opinions…just complain, take, and add nothing to society. Both of you need to grow up…turn that negative vibe in the opposite direction.

March 17, 2012to anon: this is california.
you have good things to say but, you barking at a fraud of a hawaiian (probably n. county Samoan) bruddah, makes you sound a little lame, just like me. but, suko sounds lamer, she wouldnt even let a guy apologize.
to anon: too many losers.
opinions do add to society, just think about it a little, saying they dont, makes you a little lame.
i stand on what i said, the board is clean but… its not a big deal, ladies, really.
i wish it was 5’2.5″ myself.

March 17, 2012WTF is a fraud of a Hawaiian haole boy? I live here in CA., but I’m still calling you a haole boy…aka “Kook.” If you like, I can call you a kook though…if that makes you feel better. And whoever the retard colonial white supreme being is that is thrashing on Hawaiian’s and other Pacific Rim Peoples (ie my Samoan bretherin), be warned…your racist attitude will at some point in time catch up to you and you will find yourself winning a free medivac flight, waking up in some county ER…just a word of advice (and reality)…and before anyone gets on their “reverse racism” soap box, #1: historically oppressed and colonized peoples though having the ability to negatively discriminate against other people, do not in fact possess the ability nor power structure to be racist… #2: I use the term haole boy in the sense of Mr. know it all boardman ‘cus he is yet another non-Hawaiian coming across as all haimakamaka and huhu thinking he is better then Mr. Caro (guy who sghaped the board), and this presents itself as being a scrub, a kook, a “haole boy” know it all with nothing but his gums flapping to back it up. And mahalo for id’n me as a lady, ‘cus this Hawaiian Sista would still kick a %100 of your haole kook okole anyday…least you got the gender correct…haole boy

March 15, 2012Reply to comment, maybe so, I had a Board by Tomo with those fins but diff. tail good in lined up waves but did not ride it enough to keep, other Tomo a Gem. This looks like it may work better any waves. Who cares who did it first, you got the main point. Clean Shape!
Surfy Surfy
March 15, 2012Greenough is widely credited for inventing those fins, not Tomo (who put them to darn good use).

March 16, 2012Agree completely.
Many others have used them, and each interpetation has it’s own character and feel.
Anonymous
March 16, 2012John Eikert designed and used paddle fins back in the early 60’s.
Greenough used them on his earliest homemade stand up boards.

March 16, 2012Noah used paddle fins on his Ark….

March 16, 2012Greenough Velo template + Greenough paddle fins = more speed than most trolls can handle!

March 16, 2012I have the need for speed so I best do my homework.

March 16, 2012I think it should be required if your going to comment on what works or what doesn’t, you need to prove you know how to surf well enough to tell the
difference. ( like, if the average guy or gal jumps into a Formula 1 Race Car,
the steering may feel tight, but your not a skilled enough driver to take it through it’s paces to feel the real quality of the setup.)
In conclusion, look at the picture and be stoked that someone took the time to make something.

March 16, 2012This board looks so fast!

March 16, 2012I think you would notice the 1000 extra HP long before you noticed the “steering felt tight.”
