Here is just one reason (http://outinthelineup.com) why COMPETITIVE SURFING SUCKS! AS DO ALL COMPETITIVE SPORTS SUCKS!!!!!. America number one RAWRAW. Soccer sucks.Ask Curren he will tell you it sucks TOO. I know Surfy wont publish this comment because they support these antics. Weak!

Chicken skin when I watched that the other night…! & he was so humble on stage afterwards, as he honored Sonny Miller and mentioned that it was Sonny’s birthday that day.
All-time style & class always. 50 years old and still killin’ it! Keep surfing & inspiring!
    Aloha

No need for everyone to get all twisted up over this. It’s just a sideshow to the main event, all of you so inclined can watch the main contest heats to see the button wiggling choppy air hopping trick surfing you crave. Let those who enjoy fluid power surfing have their moment. Why can’t we all just get along?

Curren’s wave was good but it was not a 10 IMHO maybe a 7.5, its cool that their having a spot in a contest for the guys that are a bit up in age and can still rip and its fun to watch. Doug

I’ll agree Professional Surfing is a complete joke. I know Curren and he will be the first to tell you that.
