Aryse Surfboards by Sakal

Speaking of talented surfer/shapers, 2nd generation shaper Ryan Sakal has started a new surfboard label called ARYSE.
We have no idea how to properly pronounce ARYSE but we’ve seen Ryan ripping the snot out of his new models.
Come check Ryan’s boards as they filter into the Surfy stock rack.

    nice outline.
    a super twin has 3 boxes….

so is this called a super quad since it has 5 boxes?
    a super duper quad?

sorry to be hung up on this.

    just wish to be super.

oh i see, you are promoting board inferiority complexes. such surfy mind tricks in the name of whoreing, hawking, and peddling.

get back to happily folding t-shirts.

Rode his version of a late 90s fish in the late 90s…thing was ridiculous fun!

could have been a current fish that was projected backwards to the late 90’s and you were actually riding something really advanced. just saying.
i hope that board did not change you too much and that you have been surfing and having fun since then.

Your life is passing you by. You had your day and it’s done. Ryan is a good shaper and he surfs better than you. Deal with it.

it was just a joke, a really bad one, that was making fun of the super twin having 3 boxes and being called super. i like a super twin, too. but it being call super makes my other boards inferior. just a bad joke. while at work, i type a comment or 2 to give myself a chuckle (purely self centered) as i gawk at nice boards that i wish i had more time to ride. productivity sinkhole.

im sure ryan surfs way better than me.and i complimented the outline of the board. i like the board pictured and i am happy for ryan. surfing and shaping. his life is not passing him by.
in fact my go to board is very similar to the one pictured. I ride it as a quad,it only has 4 boxes, not 5. 5 box envy.
yeah, life is passing me by, it happens, i work, raise kids, get some waves when free time and swell coincide. wouldn’t say my day is done, just shifted a bit but still stoked. it happened slowly as got alittle older. Don’t worry it is painless and rather gratifying, you’ll see.

It’s just the internet. I’m not worried about it.
By the way the word “super” does not appear on the recent Sakal or MR posts.
The MR Super Twin isn’t called that because of the center box, it’s called that because it’s the thinned out modernized performance model as opposed to the thicker 1980 model.
I personally like little center trailer fins in my “twin fins”.
Also, why are single fins with side bites called 2+1’s, shouldn’t they be called 1+2’s ???
