Jim Phillips Exotica Longboard

JPNR (Jim Phillips Nose Rider)
9’6″ x 23″ x 3″
Fabric inlay, pinlines, resin tint, gloss and polish.
The bottom features a huge 24” deep dish concave for lift that is perfectly paired with the long and low rocker which exits the tail with a slight kick.
The bottom contours aft of the concave show a subtle roll allowing it to softly settle into the wave.
Full, soft, 50/50 rails from nose to tail are foiled to keep some thickness up front while tapering in the rear for sensitivity.
And, this board will mix up a pitcher of Mai Tais while you listen to your Martin Denny record collection and build that Surfite model kit.

Super, super rad! Dig the colorscheme & tiki fabric inlay…sweeeet work there! Total Craftsmanship.
Classic too, that I actually was listening to Martin Denny’s “Quiet Village” & Lex Baxter, among others on my Mondo Exotica album yesterday during the heavy rains we got on the Big Island. The temps were in the mid-60*s, colder by 10* than normal and tricky for glosscoats. We have plenty snow on Mauna Kea & Mauna Loa this morning. Beautiful.
Love that fabric & colors you used on the board. Inspiring. Mahalo for posting it JP.
    Peace & much aloha
