5’10” x 21 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ 17″ nose x 17 1/2″ tail Handshaped by Gary Hanel in deepest, darkest Leucadia, California. Custom Surfy fins by Jack Jensen. Ride this and spray those hipster kids going straight on the mini-simms and those aggro Nike 6.0 flapper groms on their Dumpster Divers.
I would like to hear the opinion of GH or one of the Surfy crew who has experience with these pills….I believe these boards are better suited for a single, high aspect ratio fin although the quad setup obviously looks do-able. What’s the difference in surfability, guys?
by looking at it, seems you need a wave that’s not real hollow for one. then with that channel thang it best not be to choppy out there. (that’l work best in da morning glass.) more of a lowers, trails type wave or swamies, cardiff reef, on their mellow days. wide tails are very cool and you really get up and start planing. it’s just as i said hollow, solid juice and chop your gonna be fighting it. just my .02 cents. but what the frik do i know anyway? juss trying to help. i know i’ll catch sht for this 1…
I would like to surfy surfy that…I really dig surfing traditional template twin fin swallow tail fishes, as well as displacement hulls (I really friken love surfing my Liddy Velo Stubbie…mahalo nui for shaping that bad ass surfboard Greg!), this board though…looks super awesome…perhaps an in between of what I most love to surf?…oh yeah, and Bonzer’s are just plain hands down super rad…the CB shaped one’s…no other Bonzer’s like the ones that the CB’s shape! Mahalo nui to all that shaper’s and glasser’s out there, especially from Hawai’i and San Diego…without you, the dedicated and profoundly gifted hand crafting artisan’s, the world would be without yet another bit of what little pure joy there is still left in this current insane world of ours still…especially us surfer’s…shaping and glassing is truly a science and an art…mahaloz!!!
