    Surfy Surfy,
Can you compare and contrast the rippy rippy experience for riding grovelly grovelly conditions on the Octafish vs. the Alpha/Omega?
Inquiring East Coasters want to know.
    Thanks.

The “bystander” is muy lucky he didn’t get his head cutback! Dad always taught us to get out of the way……

For years I kept 2 boards in the Surfy Wagon, a 5’7″ quad fish and a 5’8″ Bonzer Octafish. The transition back and forth felt smooth to me. I liked the Octafish in wedgy beachbreak barrels the best.

    Will investigate the labels, thanks!

Octafish is “Not a fish” – this was evident to me when I took mine to Costa Rica on the peak day it was Overhead and 1/2 and that thing did only what I can call “unnatural acts” in solid long period waves…

Notably, it would go top to bottom on a 10′ face almost instantly with no effort… Not to mention the insane speed — oh the insane speed…

grade inflation, SAT inflation, stock market inflation, food inflation, self esteem inflation, and alas wave height inflation. surfline says 3-5 you know it’s 1-2.
