Working Quiver 2007 (incomplete)
I plan on doing a lot of surfing in 2007 and it’s going to take all kinds of surfboards. Here is my current working quiver (stay tuned for updates).

January 4, 2007Not a single fin guy at all? And, uh, that Toby quad looks like the one from the shaping session you showed us just a few weeks back. That is just so quick for a turnaround time. Something’s fishy in more ways than one!

January 4, 2007How big is the Pavel quad? Have you ridden it? Quad set-up without the pulled in tail? That’s where I think I’m going; give me some feed back.
Nice boards, you bastard.
J.P.
January 4, 2007Pavel Speedialer quad is 5’7″, it has the double wing bump to swallowtail.
Missing from the photo is The Thumb and my 5’8″ Gary Hanel Fish.
I sold my single fin this summer. I’m on a multi-fin kick right now.

January 4, 2007JP,
It are hard to tell if the yellow fever are a comin’ or a goin’ these days.
D-Raddest: You are NOT in NEED of a neat board. You bought up all of the used ones in SD County.
Who's Your Daddy
January 4, 2007Wow, I never thought that I’d see a tailpad on one of your boards JP. You’re actually the person who convinced me to stop putting them on mine! lol
Good waves to you in ’07!
Chum
January 4, 2007I need a kleenex.
J.P.
January 4, 2007I didn’t put that tailpad on that board. I acquired that board in a swap for a CI 80’s style quad. I’m going to tear the pad off and replace it with one of the new smaller Destination Surf pads.

January 5, 20074 fin quad…is there any other type of quad?
Ah, a better look reveals the truth. I thought the gray 5finbonz was a bee.
Any comments on a bee vs. quad?
gracias!

So you prefer the tri fin over the 5 fin Bonzer setup on the GWAT??? I want to order one. Guy’s website is kinda jacked up.

January 6, 2007Proper. My ’07 lineup is the CI Twin Fin, a beefy old Joe Bark Thruster I got off craigslist for $100, and my 7’4″ Brewer/Plumeria (baby’s 1st big wave board). I made em change it from the stock squash to swallowtail, and had it glassed heavy. Dick saw it when he visited the shop and declared it was good. Been watching STYLE MASTERS non-stop since I got back from the East Coast last night. It’s gonna be a good winter.
