6’6″ Extra Minimalist
This 6’6″ Paradoxical Pod is loaded with extras for the minimalist minded surfer.
Super clean outline and shape by Malcolm Campbell in Oxnard, California.
Built at Moonlight Glassing in North San Diego county.
Glassed with s-cloth and a volan deck patch for those who are all knees and elbows.
Travel friendly FCS Fusion system with official Bonzer side fins and center box with 7″ True Ames center Bonzer fin.
Classy pinlines and polished gloss deck, wetsand gloss bottom.
6’6″ x 21″ x 2 5/8″
If you’ve ever ridden an old school single fin and thought it was fun and groovy but felt it was too slow and limiting, then upgrade to a Bonzer and lay it on a rail and drive through sections and carve big smooth cutbacks.
It’s good stuff!
*Update: now available via our online store SOLD, thanks!

August 2, 2012Hey JP,
Can you add your thoughts on the difference between a POD 5 and Bonzer 5 egg with equal dims?
Is the POD better suited for fatter, mushier waves?
Had a few B5 eggs (great boards) just never tried a POD.
Thanks –

August 2, 2012The Pod has the old school 70’s style beak nose so it carries more foam where the eggs are more thinned out.
The Pod has flatter rocker than the egg.
The egg is probably more free and easy, the Pod is a bit more serious. The Pod works in mush, the e-wing eggs are looser, but the Pod can go deep into the hollow stuff.

August 2, 2012Sounds awesome, so you think the pod is better for setting a line and getting into the barrel?

August 4, 2012JP, where are the stock bumblebees? Bigger ones. Classic three fin bonzer set up. We need some angles. Been much round stuff lately…of course, it is summer…and a bad one for the county surf at that.
