    Aloha from Hawaii,
Deepest condolances and heartfelt aloha to the Oldfield Ohana for the loss of your daughter. Your film and love for your daughter is very touching and gives way to the healing of the ocean. Mahalo for sharing your story, passion & it was inspirational to see your friends all sharing waves on your creation.
    God Bless & malama pono.

there was once a time that I thought this was cool. then my brother committed suidice and i realized how shallow this is. surfing is an escape from having to mentally deal with things. surfing is great but when you use it as an escape from pain… then pain will win eventually. after you deal with the pain then surfing will come back. best, Jeff S

Nathan posted a great thread on Sways about making of this board, it was 39 pages long. It started out as an amazing board build thread and then at some point you know there is something special and by the end your just in tears. Take a look if you have some time.

Anonymous- Firstly my condolences to you regarding the loss of your brother. However I ask you to reflect on your words- calling Nathan’s means of coping through his artistic outlets “shallow”and referring to pain as something that will “win” shows you have not embraced that pain you have endured and softened to it. Until we wholeheartedly accept the tragedies that inevitably arise in our lives we will be slaves to their malaise. Continuing to battle their existence will only hurt yourself and others. Peace To You Friend
