I have a question about the bamboo runners they are great looking and grown instead of manmade form chemicals and everything. the weight and dynamicis of the bamboo are very attractive. my question is does the bamboo take more maintence to make sure it is staying water tight and not allowing water to work its way into bamboo and possibily into the foam?
The bamboo fins have a resin and fiberglass bead, if you hit a rock and expose the raw wood then fix immediately. UV resin like Solarez will do the trick.
