Jack Jensen aka The Fin Man not only has been making the best fins in the surfboard industry for 30+ years (check out these foam/fiberglass combo glass-ons!) he can also handle a planer. This is his new personal board with super flashy airbrush.
i have had this old school surfboard that i bought in San Diego back in 92 while in the navy. gave it to my best friend and he took it on tour with him around the pacific on a navy tour upon and air craft carrier. never knew who it was by just stoked to have one. got out of the navy in 95 and in 96 my best friend got out also. we both live in Mississippi down on the gulf coast.no wave i might mention! but he gave it back to me as a surprise. its been in the house since the so today i finally researched the board and found it to be one of the fin man’s earlier creations. it is a 6’1″ single fin board that has j jensen on top and bottom, green air brush with fusion color under the jensen logo. its a bit beatup now up has plenty of memories attached with it. i will post photos later on my facebook later..michael martin…..black dude on a skateboard as the photo. thanks jensen!!!
I have an exact set of those fins, with the red interior and I can’t get myself to put them on a board in fear of ever losing them. Too bad we can’t get that condensed foam anymore. BTW, that board is killer. JJ is my hero.
I have those exact same fins had em for a few years now and super nervous about putting them on a board in fear of losing them haha. The red interiors with the black look sooooo insane, plus the foamies have always been a favorite of mine. Too bad we can’t get that super condensed foam anymore…
