You just gettin’ yours today Capt.A. ? Got mine a week ago ! Ha , teasin’ ! After all that other post stuff , that cover actually looked better on the web ! 😉 Rw
Do tell, How’s the Greeno Shark Stories article, and should I be worried about my next surf at little wategos? We get our copies in Oz much later than you guys in CA.
This is one of the best issues of the Journal ever. Love the cover shot! Gives new meaning to the term “water ballet.” The Greenough Shark Files are brilliant, Clark Little’s shorebreak photos are gawjuss, and the piece on Carl Ekstrom is absorbing. (A bit of a relief after that snarky, up-your-nose displacement crap in the last ish.) There’s lots more.
The mag feels different in your hand now–they got some new, heavier paper stock, and spot varnish on every photo. Super classy! What did we do to deserve this?

April 2, 2009An expensive habit…usually get it at lunchtime on a work day and end up blowing off the afternoon reading it…
