Kid in a Candy Store





Tim Orr, a shaper from the Big Island of Hawaii has been sending me some great photos of his surfboard habit. He has over 250 boards that he has collected over the last 20 or so years. Sometimes a man’s swell surfboard collection turns into a full blown museum. I’ll post up more of his pics in the coming days.

    From those first two photos, I thought this was a look at the ‘hidden’ collection we saw at the Surf Heritage Museum.

    This may sound wierd to some, but that “mancave” looks like the most comfy place on earth. If that was my house I’d stick a sleeping bag right between the boards in the top pictures and just have the best sleeps ever. Just let me spoon one of those Bonzers from behind and…ok maybe I should stop…
