A Smorgisboard of Deals

Hi everyone, I know that Surfy Surfy is an international blog but if you happen to be in north San Diego county this weekend, a few bros and I are having a big used surfboard sale this Saturday in Cardiff-by-the-sea.

When: Saturday August 9th 10:00am-1:00pm (this way you can surf and get breakfast first)

Where: 2218 Oxford Ave, Cardiff-by-the-sea Google map (due east from the goofy surfer statue)

Who: Mainly myself and fellow surfboard junkie Justin (who has a very pregnant wife and needs to thin his super quiver) and couple of other bro bros.

What: Fishes, quads, longboards, shortboards, eggs, single fins, you name it. A good selection of interesting and unique boards.

Why: Because surfboards are groovy and neat-o and you just might find one that will change your life forever.

Some of the boards in this photo will be for sale, some are not and there will be others.

JP–I would very much like to know if that yellow Schroff in the upper right hand corner of the shot is for sale. My first two boards were a Schroff twinny and a swallow-tail thruster, both from about 1985. I had to sell ’em to pay an electric bill or two back when I was in grad school and have regretted it ever since. Please email me or post a comment at the blog.

Any logs available? It’s a little drive and I’d love to know what might be available before I commit the gas act. Thanks. Come to think of it, you should put together an inventory list and post it. I bet you’ll sell half the boards before Saturday.

Married guy boards look just like regular boards, but with .5 inches of dust on em.

And for Justin’s info, double that dust layer for new Daddy boards.

Does this font make me look fat?

I’m seeking a top-shelf noserider for places like Malibu and Rincon, and have a nice Connelly I’m looking to get rid of. Let me know if there are any left after the sale. Any offers for the KC? (rsfromsd at hotmail.)

MMMwyaaahahahaha! Justin, love the Schroff, man. She hangs on the wall most of the time but I got her out during hurricane Wilma and again @ mexico beach a couple weeks ago for the Hurricane Faye swell… Love this board, bra.
