so how much is Evol charging for that thing? $60K? or is it already sold to some hollywood celebrities who’s going to use it as a wallhanger?

I seriously doubt someone is going to order mother-of-pearl inlays so they can smash them against the rocks at Mavs.

It’s stunning work, but my money is betting it’s a wallhanger. Too bad, ’cause the shape is SCREAMING!!!! Great job, Jim Phillips!!

That’s my board I plan to ride it at Mavs and Cortes. After a couple of seasons I might hang it on the wall.

Perfect for the Harley owner that just spent 10K in chrome goodies & needs another “look at me” thing to spend his money on.

I don’t criticize the buyer if he plans on using it. That is beautiful. I do criticize the buyer if it’s just a decoration. That is a $10k to $20k surfboard, made to surf.

Contrary to others, I will say this: PLEASE DO HANG IT ON A WALL… like a 30-40 foot high wall of water, with wind coming up the face driving water into your squinting eyes, as you crouch down to attain velocity via gravitational pull against the water rushing up above the boil, and feel the wind screaming as you accelerate out onto…

If you don’t ride that board, that board will never respect you.
