April 12, 2008I’m pretty sure I saw you get the longest noserides of your life on that board + some bucket throwing top turns. The board goes insane! Easy to see the basis for your choice.

April 14, 2008My 07″ Thumb has been oogled by many, but no one seems to be able to ride it but me. It takes a certain patience, and its kind of like the Skip Frye glider where it’s not real user-friendly but when you hit the right spot the turn feels so good. And it hauls ash and noserides. Not recommended for choppy beachbreak waves. Thumb’s up and down 4 life.

April 14, 2008Yeah, the Thumb isn’t really a board you ride the first time and it’s all good. It’s tricky at first and then it clicks and it’s a beautiful relationship from there on out. It’s like taming a mean dog you rescue from the pound and then he becomes your best buddy for life.
