Props to both Marlin and Danny.

My new board has been ordered with Marlin’s glass-on bamboo fins and I can’t wait.

    Waves to ya,

Oh Lordy!!! I thought that my surfing hit new levels when I got my Hess… and it did not have the 101 fins. I think that would almost be “too much stuff”!

The Hess boards are up to about $1300 these days. Mollusk sells some for that much. Custom might be the same. Sounds like a lot more but the performance and durability (No pressure dents at all) make it worth it. I have a 6 ft Hess Pacheco Fish Quad that is insane. I heard its about 12 month wait on a board now.

I have Futures on my Hess. Didn’t think that 101 made any fins in anything but glass ons or LoxBox. I have a couple sets of Rainbow Fin Co quads.
