Back Stop

I never use traction but my brother-in-law Aaron gave me this thing called The Stop to try. It came in handy on a wave over the weekend when I was off balance hitting the close out section. I jammed my backfoot into it and was able to recover. I wasn’t wearing a leash that session so it saved me a swim.

(I’m digging how the glass loop doesn’t need a string with the leash too).

Hey what’s your feedback on that bat tail (not the board entirely, but the tail)?

I hate traction pads, but i use one of those on my MR style twin fin, it improves being able to grip and push the tail around. I’m glad Destination is finally making them. Their products are all top quality. There are some interesting shapes that those could be applied to, like a perf 5 fin bonzer…

I bet the out of balance part would have been entertaining to see. I’d have paid to see that.

    re: glass loops

I have a fish with a glass loop and leashes have always been an issue. Railsavers are not long enough. Or I can’t find the right one. Can someone point me in the direction of a good leash setup for this board (used only when the tide is high or rocks/obstacles exposed)

    thanks
