Speaking of jets. Anybody remember the Wave Tools ‘jet stinger’ boards with the pvc holes trough the deck?
Talk about trapping water for affect.
Shootin’ out the top of the board were
six fountains of jet powered water.
    There go the cold jets.

The shaped blank photos were not up to the extremely high photo standards we have at Surfy Surfy.

Those are beautiful boards, but I’m curious, what’s with the “jet bottom” board? I’ve never seen or heard of that, what’s the purpose behind it?

    Trudy,
the purpose of the jet bottom is Speed in the tube!!! its channels hold you so tight on a vertical wall its insane. mental tube hounds in Australia invented it. back in the 70’s

g’day to every one out there, i see a few people out there wanna know about the Kewarra jet & understand more on the concept. i met erle pedersen (the inventor) 6yrs ago when we ended up living in the same town,Being a shaper myself & love the re arrangeing the plane shapes of boards & fins to prove that the stock standed surfboard isn’t the be all/end all of designs. We have pushed the jet to new concepts for practability & now in forms of pure art peices..THE jet, the concept was once a drama to make but now has the future’s advantage, THE jet is a concept to bust all forms of water tention & ive tried it in so many personal veriations of this concept to make it work against it self but it seems to only improve the performance(more jet the better)so the best way to discribe this IS it’s sticks while releasing, it surf’s on top of the water but is in it, it’s so loose but stable & has controlled speed but has an over drive for the advantage, i’m just sorry that this design was ahead of it’s time & 3/4 of the picks you’ll see is only a spin off from the true origial jet, surf1770.com.au shows all the above….get a KEWARRA JET…..GLENNcat
