JP – this is an Octafish, right? How would this ride compared to the Blue Danube board you posted a while back (assuming they were about the same length)? What model is the Blue Danube board?

oh, yeah, compliments to the Art Slob.

The Blue Danube is the “Bumble Bee” model, based on the early 70’s stubs the Campbell brothers rode at Oxnard, Silver Strand, Pt. Mugu, etc.

The Octafish is basically a Bumble Bee but the e-wing pulls in the tail and the swallow tail makes the board looser than the Bee. The Octafish goes off the top easier than the Bee but people like the Bee for down the line S turn style surfing.

Both boards should be ridden as short as you feel comfortable going.

The Art Slob sure does some clean work eh?
