Start with a clean deck. Use the edge of the basecoat to draw whatever design you want then using the edge of the basecoat gently rub the rest of the bar on. Take your time. Theres no need for top coat.

don’t care what anyone says, having a killer wax job is a GOOD thing!
much better than having some stupid pad stuck on the back of yer board trapping all that water!
and yes, the air and all that can be done without em.
You’ll see in some years we’ll all be laughing @ em too!

Don’t be afraid of the basecoat. You can get some good tight beads with it, then top it off with your favorite top coat (currently prefer the Tour Series from Stickybumps).

Designs are not that hard; just use a real warm water wax or base coat and lightly draw your lines on there and follow up with the usual.

    Pretty easy.

Though I wonder if that relates to how much business Mollusk is getting in their shop?

Dims of that board are 6’4″ x 19″ 2 1/2″ swallow tail bonzer 5. Dan was nice enough to lend it to a few of us right after he purchased it off the rack — fun board…..
