The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun

The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun DVD

The essential classic surf film by George Greenough.

Documenting the shortboard revolution in 1968, George Greenough crafts a great and still highly watchable surf film.
40 years before GoPro cameras Greenough built waterhousings for his bulky 16mm cameras and got the first inside the barrel water shots.
A catchy soundtrack and fun footage of old cars bumping along dirt roads to perfect empty point surf.
Innermost Limits of Pure Fun is a must have for any serious surfer regardless of age. Put it on during a house party for eye candy, or go deep and put on your headphones and turn out the lights, it works either way.
Available via the Surfy Surfy online store: clicky clicky

Bonus, this weird Australian Coca-cola commercial with footage by Greenough and Pink Floyd-ish sounding music:

And, a Korduroy tv segment featuring Greenough:

What is cool on Inter most limits of pure fun is the art work, a lost art in these high tech days. Plus the sound track fits right in the time period, so fine : ) Paz, taco’s & olas. Doug
