August 23, 2012Sorry but this post has nothing to do with the movie. I wasn’t sure how to post my praise on the 5 fin bonzer I bought from Surfy Surfy, if you type in “The Return of Awesomeness” in the search box, you may remember it. Anyway I rode it a couple of weeks ago at Trestles (Cottons Point and Middles during the last south swell), the waves were 2′-3′ overhead and as good as it gets. The board rides better than it looks and it looks “AWESOME”, I was surprised at how the board accelerated out of turns. It gained speed not lose speed during turns. I kept waiting for the perfect day to use it and just decided that the next good swell I was going to ride it. To me this is what surfing is all about, trying something different and getting completely stoked when you do.
