The Return of the 16mm Surf Film

Surfer/artist/filmaker Jeremy Rumas is making progress on his Bali surf film opus, Hangs Upon Nothing. It’s shot in 16mm with a classic Bolex camera and features the surfing talents of brothers Mikala and Daniel Jones and a cast of local rippers. An original soundtrack by Turbofire to Zenith puts it in the this-is-a-real-film category.
Rumas has been shooting and editing this film between going to school and working odd jobs. Release date slated for summer 2012 (or whenever…)
