A lot (but not all) of Australian kneeboarders don’t wear swim fins, and ride longer/wider thruster or thruster-like designs with the fin placement way up off the tail. Hell some guys here are giving that style of riding a go too. I prefer wearing fins and riding shorter kneeboards when I kneeboard, but to each their own, even amongst kneeboarders. And yeah that guy, and his brother Chayne can pretty much rip standing up when they choose to.

He had them cut off right above the knee. It’s a very rare condition in which one feels one or more of their limbs is not truly their own, and they become obsessed with cutting it off.
