May 14, 2010FYI to LMAO The word “retro” derives from the Latin prefix retro, meaning “backwards” and im pretty sure we can all agree that when riding a trifin it feels like you are going backwards. also the tri fin is a retro design and pretty much has not changed that much in over 30 years. simon was riding them way before his big break at bells in 81.

May 14, 2010It’s true, Mani is not from Leucadia but the local community likes him. He is currently using the shaping room at Moonlight.
I grew up here in Leucadia and yes, the surf shop is one block north of Leucadia Blvd on the 101.
I have to laugh at the fratboy crack, the majority of post on Surfy Surfy the past year have been about a shaper from Oxnard.
