many anxious surfers waiting its opening…!

there is a void that needs to be filled, just like the grotto used to provide to the community in regards to retro/longboard selection.

All that glass is perfect for taping up SurfCo posters. Are you going to be more Hurley/Nike or Billabong centric?

Curious as to the history of the building…When and who built it?

With your artsy side, I think you would produce a good “Surfy Surfy”, the movie.

In regards to the earlier comment about “SUP gear and demos” – I seriously hope you guys don’t intend to carry or promote that horrendous activity here in Leucadia. Please be mindful about maintaining the soul and vibe of Leucadia by not drawing more obnoxious pseudo surf trends anywhere near the line-ups at Beacon’s. Seriously. SUP’s give too many people with too little experience too much power and far too much presence. They have no place whatsoever in the line-ups of the main breaks. And remember Surfy Surfy crew, you guys are filling the shoes of the GROTTO. These here walls and floors are hallowed, rat shit and all. This is Leucadia. With all due respect. Thanks.

Have you ever seen an SUP on Surfy Surfy? No.
    Does Moonlight make SUPs? No.
    SUPs are not surfy.

1926. It has been a market, a bus station, a hotel, a music store, surf shops, etc. Not sure about the architect, the original plans are not on record.

You said you’d be open before Christmas, where am I going to buy all my presents now?

  • Hm… Well, I kinda like “agro extreme..”, but I think it should be “agro extreme sweatshop.”
Really, what i’m seeing here is the culmination of a few of my favorite things…the exploitation of migrant workers, SUPs, and of course, death metal. Maybe a free face punch with every purchase over $20. It could be the “Dick’s Last Resort” of surf shops.

I know you’re just going to steal this visionary idea, so think of this as free consulting. I expect 20% off purchases of all spiked leather goods and jean jackets – I go through them like mad.
