Transparent Sea Voyage

I recently became acquainted with Chris Del Moro who sent me this email today announcing his new project,
“The reason for this journey is to hook up with great surfer, environmentalist and good friend Dave Rastovich to embark on a 700km journey from Byron Bay to Sydney Australia (think SF to LA). Our goal is to travel along side the annual migration of Humpback whales on their mission towards Antarctica. Through our journey we are hoping to spread awareness of the annual whale hunts happening in the Southern Whale Sanctuary as well as the 23,000 dolphins killed annually in Taiji, Japan. Dave, lens man Hilton Dawe and a rotating boat will travel in 16ft Hobie kayak/outrigger/sail boats hoping to tap into the raw powers that the ocean will bring our way.”
