Thick ‘n Wide

Thick and juicy steak of a thruster shaped by Gary Hanel for Tyler Hanel. Dims not written on board so I guess it’s a big secret.
*Don’t forget to check out GH’s entry in Billabong’s Art of Shaping event at ASR San Diego this weekend.

I bet the dims are 6’4″x19.75″x2.5″

I have a board shaped by GH based on this template and I like it – however I wish the nose was a bit more full.

It’s a duplicate of this board we made last year: http://www.surfysurfy.net/2008/04/modern-retro-tri-fin.html

It’s my favorite board I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. It really gives me a ton of confidence in any situation. I’ve had other boards since but keep going back to that one, but it’s getting REAL beat up by now, so here is the duplicate. Hope it works as well!

    I don’t remember what dimensions we made it, but I think 6’4″ x 19.75″ x 2.5″ is probably right.
