I used to have a cut out picture of Tillman on my desk to remind me of the ultimate sacrifice for our country by a man who had it all and gave it up for Freedom.

Thanks to the Moonlight team for doing such a great job on the board! FYI on the number, he was 42 when he played with me at ASU, 40 for the Cardinals. He was an inspiration to all in and out of the spotlight as are all of our men and women protecting our country!!!

Still some fishy thing about the death of Tillman.

(AP) SAN FRANCISCO Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman’s forehead and tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player’s death amounted to a crime, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

“The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described,” a doctor who examined Tillman’s body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.

The doctors — whose names were blacked out — said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away.

Apparently he was questioning in public the legitimacy of the war in iraq. We all know the ARMY cant have a famous footballer messing with the moral of troops that probably looked up to him.
