Marlin Bacon of 101 Fin Co. made me these nice bamboo removables that fit the Lokbox system for my Vader Sputnik shaped by Shawn Ambrose. They rock.

I have 30 board I bought last year. Surfed lots. Surfed well, in my prime. Bamboo good for small Cali waves with good flex for turning without substantial wave power. The flexier tail will pivit at low speed with low ppwer. The marine ply fin is stiffer witch will generate more speed on longer waves because they will mantain the energy longer than the bamboo transfering more and more as you ride. Also stronger so more drive in real surf. I love my cainines quad bamboos but for epic real point break all time fish platform riding…go marine ply..the followers on this site are amusing… Surfing is for warriors…,not whimpy ass dudes

can’t wait to put my set on my sputnik — they look even better in person, marlin did an insane interpretation of my template on the first go around — s.a.
