August 7, 2007It’s interesting that Marlin brings up the issue of character and the significance of it in that article because I think of him as a good role model himself in that category.

August 7, 2007In a world of mediocrity, Marlin stands tall.
Much respect.

August 8, 2007I’d be curious to try these on a contemporary Bonzer shortboard?
I must say though on the mini HP eggs
I really have no weight issues with the regular runners.
Still keeping an openmind, I’d love to try them but to commit on an order would be pricey.
Is there a demo bonzer with ’em (of any shape) out there?
For a bigger guy?
Gracias.

August 8, 2007Wow….Thanks for all the kind words guys! Greatly appreciated! A big thanks to Bassy and surfermag.com for initiating the “hand on” series.

August 9, 2007all thrusters 6,1 6,3 6,6 & 6.9 just in case you were wondering. Tube quiver. actually the 6,9 is getting fcs so I can use slater fins. I know I Know that could not be cheezier, but they are so nice on sick waves.

August 9, 2007Lokbox has an FCS adapter so you can still use your old fins.

August 10, 2007Haven’t tried the fins yet, but after seeing the fins up close at the UK Fish Fry, I can’t wait to try them out.
Marlin was one of the most sincere, yet humble people I have ever met, even taking the time to examine my boards, and give me feedback.
Stoked on the coverage for him, as he deserves it, especially after taking all the time, and money to develop the fins.
Whew! Stoked for your Marlin!
