Wow! That’s a radical claim! I was stoked to be a part of it! It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bro. Barrels upon barrels and 30 second noserides, roundhoused cutbacks and high line drives down the speed track. We got it all.
Lord that looks soooo nice
That reeling point surf looks alright…if you like that kind of stuff…
Haven’t surfed in a week
do tell—what board does a surfy surfy guy who can surf some of the most insane boards in the world, surf when he rides waves like those???
ur stoked. Show us da pics!
yeah, Teaser..where are the rest of the pics? or were you too busy getting tubed out of your gord and forgot to take along a handy photographer like me.
j/k rob and i went too!

I love the stoke. Good things come to good people.surf on
Now you’re just showing off!!
This was a heck of a swell… and to get it down Baja way… mmm,mmm the Tecate must of tasted good those days. Lookin’ forward to the eye candy.
Good for you JP.You deserve it.
One mo thang;I met yer buddy and waaay cool guyDylan Jones up boo way for the goodshere in the states. There were a couple more peeps than in yer pic, but some good stuff.
Yeah JP!…Super stoked you got my fave spot wit swell and lo lo tides! I’m glad you got it good!! No one deserves it more! Uh, on the lighter side, there’s a brand new 5’er of Sureluster in the RO room that nobody’s been fighting over.
I think I surfed a total of 20 hours in 2 1/2 half days. Rode 4 boards, 3 Bonzers and a Speedialer. Still putting together the photos. Sadly my camera battery died before the epic afternoon on the 2nd day. It will bother me to my grave that I missed getting shots of Trusty Dusty connecting on my 6’3″ Bonzer5. Some of the best surfing I’ve ever seen from an “average surfer”.
Glad you scored man. You deserve it, you shop monkey. 😉 It looks like I missed the best waves down there by just a few days.
Alot of people missed it by just a few days, including “The Surf Forecast Guru” Sean Collins and the entourage of pros he enticed down to the same spot. So stoked we waited for what looked like the better of the two swells. FNMOC BABY!!!
Yeah JP!!You scored & well deserved. I can’t wait to see the pics.I’m freezing my cajones off in Alaska right now.
AWESOME! So stoked you scored bruddah! I am buried in diapers and havent surfed in weeks and it’s cold and raining in Oregon, so it’s great to live vicariously through you. What a trip! Much Alohas to your family my man!
