JP this is my favorite board you have ever posted from the shape to the resin tint to the fins to pinstripes to the resin loop beautiful board all the way around.
Dude like what are the dims?? Can you please measure the rocker, fin cluster, fin shape, and also cut a template for me? thanks in advance! you can fedex it to
Thanks for the great pics! And thanks for suggesting the addition of the gold pinline to the color scheme. This board is 7′-11″ 15″n – 22 1/2″w – 15 1/2t – 7 1/2″ between the tips. 3 1/4″ thick. Rich shaped it out of a King Mack blank. It has his signature tapered cedar stringer and his rocker template. I used Pavel templates to make the fins. They are almost identical to the AK-4’s I make for Mandala surfboards. “Cruiser” somewhat belies the board’s performance abilities. For a 6-1 200 lb guy like me, it surfs a lot like a 6-0 range speed dialer. IT FLIPPIN RIPS!!!!
very nice board! I wonder if john had to wait 16 months as i have? was he jerked around by e mail and telephone? or is that just for the general public?
