Customized Warm Jet

The fin set up on my new Bonzer3 Light Vehicle. Bamboo siderunners by Marlin Bacon/101 Fin Co. Center fin is a 6.5″ True Ames retro-fitted with foam by Jack Jensen.

Board feels really light and balanced. Can’t wait for this storm to blow through so I can ride it.

*center fin does not have finishing coat yet, hence the cloth weave.

Like the site. I have added a link on my own blog (http://timkevan.blogspot.com) where I also write about surfing. If you want to swap links, it would be much appreciated. No worries either way. All very best, Tim Kevan

I have a variety of CB 5-fins but have never ridden one of the 3-fins. What’s the difference in the ride?

Beautiful board. My new Bonzer just might have to be a 3 fin.

The standard response has been “Bonzer3 smooth and carvy and Bonzer5 looser off the top” but this board turns really tight and is super loose. I think the lightweight bamboo fins are doing something down there…
