Kitsch. Not taking anything away from the artist, the scene itself is far from avant-garde. I mean, airbrushed waves; pretty surf cliché isn’t it?

Again, I’m just responding to the question. No intention of taking anything away from a nice rendering that is clearly fulfilling the wishes of the client.

How much would it cost to get an airbrush with an Aztec Warrior holding a sacrificed virgin Princess at the altar on a shortboard??

    LOL TFAD,

I just listed an item on Craigs List and the in the hidden decoder box which I was to type the hidden secret word, the word was no other than “SURFY”

    Made me laugh.

Hope this doesn’t come out wrong or offend the artist.

But I think the pencil drawing should have gone on the board. Cool stuff.

Dude, that’s totally avant-kitsch! I have been looking for a Ford Econoline with heart-shaped windows with that exact same painting on it for years! My version would have an african princess reclining on a panther in the foreground, but that’s close enough.
