So there I was at the ESPN2 Super Dooper EXtremO Awards presented by Red Bull Lite. Jeepers, what was a handsome surfer like me doing at such a glitzy media event? Was it just because I am the editor of the Bible of the Sport? Gosh, I guess surfing has finally made it to the big time. The valet looked at my sandy feet and shook his head. “Watch the boards brah.” I said as I flipped him the keys. Carmen Electra gave me a funny look, “Is that a surfer?” she must have asked herself, “what the heck is he doing here at this A- list event?” Goshy gollickers.
