March 22, 2006Who owns it now?
And, did you guys glass it?
J.P.
March 22, 2006Chris Malloy owns it, the photos are taken in the kitchen of the old Moonshine house in Ventura.
The board was glassed by us at a time when 90% of the boards in the shop were clear (no color) so it really stood out.
The thing looked impossible to ride and I think it was judging from the footage. The fin gashed Taylor Knox so bad that it ruined his chances at winning the Triple Crown that year, (Rabbit had picked TK as the favorite) and thus probably cost him a word title too. Single fins are dangerous?

March 22, 2006Did they purposely ask Brit to shape a difficult-to-ride board?

March 22, 2006After reading this, I had visions of cornering the market on making crappy surfboards, then I remembered that I already had.

Everything else they do seems to be pretty darn ethically concious, as far as I know!
They surf pretty good too!
