Join us at Patagonia Cardiff, as revolutionary surfboard designers, Malcolm and Duncan Campbell, lead us through the developmental history and modern-day success of their signature Bonzer designs. They’ll present an original slide show of unpublished Fineman photographs, screen a short film and answer all of your questions. The evening’s presentation concludes with the unveiling of eight new boards hand-shaped by Malcolm using Patagonia’s extruded polystyrene foam and world-class epoxy lamination.

“A Day with Your Shapers and Friends on the Hobie Team”

Come meet legendary Hobie Shapers Terry Martin, Midget Smith, Mickey Munoz, Mark Johnson and our newest addition, Gary Larson. We will also have representatives from some our top glass shops like Greg Martz & Ron Lingenfelter from Waterman’s Guild, Peter St. Pierre, J.P. St. Pierre and Gary Stuber from Moonlight Glassing. The Hobie Surf Team will also be on hand signing posters and passing out free goods. This is your chance to order a custom board or just chat with a shaper, glasser or team rider of choice. There will be tons of free Hobie product raffled off, including a brand new Hobie Surfboard which is currently on display in the store. Raffle tickets are being sold this whole week prior and the day of the event. Tickets are $1 a piece and all proceeds will go to the Dana Point Ocean Institute. We will also have complimentary drinks and a Chef on hand grilling up free red hot Hobie Dogs. Come join us for this rare occasion, we hope to see you there.
