7’0″ Skip Frye egg.
“Falsa Balsa” airbrush, so it looks like you a shredding a solid wood board from afar. Sneaky!
Snazzy red glass-on tri-fin.
A sophisticated bottom concave system that is impossible to photograph and display on the internets.
Classic Skip rails for technical carving and trimming.
7’0″ x 21″ x 2 7/8″
This near mint condition used board is for sale at Surfy Surfy Surf Shop.
Skip says he used a Clark Foam blank for this board.
Shaped and glassed custom in 2011.

March 8, 2012$2k for a used board with cracks…just plain crazy! Maybe if it was new.

March 8, 2012The price is crazy but I still want it. Why would any one sell this thing?
Anonymous
March 8, 2012Whoever is selling it is a dick for getting his hands on a skip and then selling it for a profit, who ever buys it is a kook asshole for paying $2k for a used board just so he can say “I have a Skip”, just like he says “I drive a Benz”.

March 8, 2012Let’s all take a couple of votes. First, should he/she be ALLOWED by all of us to sell it? If the answer is Yes, then how much should we ALLOW him to receive? Wait, one more thing for us to decide – what can the proceeds be spent on? Only another Skip Frye!!! People need to mind their own business.

March 8, 2012If it helps, this seller has known Skip since the 70’s. The money will go to another Skip, shorter and thinner.

I dont want it!!!!

March 9, 2012While Skip’s shapes are defining, beautiful, and really great performers, it was always the rider. The board comes from the style. I see guys and girls on Skip’s biffing, pearling, and all that nonsense every day. Malcolm, maybe Toby–if you can find him, Mani and the new crew do a fantastic job too.
