5 fin Light Vehicles can be a little bouncey. I think this bottom really compliments the 3 fin, especially if you plant your back foot right above the center fin.
Really curious about how these boards ride compared to a Bumblebee of similar length. It seems these have the wide point forward or dead center and a wider nose than tail, while the BB is the reverse, or correct me. I've been riding a 5'9" Bonzer3 BB (not light vehicle) for the past five years and it's one of the most versatile boards ever. But I'm really tempted by one of these for my next purchase so would love some comparative analysis.
The round nose light vehicles have more curve than the Bumblebee so they seem to flow around smoother. The Bumblebee nose outline is probably better in barrels, I've mostly ridden the RNLV in mushy reefs and really loved it. They are super fast and feel like a hovercraft. 50 roundhouse cutbacks per wave!
Love.
