On September 1st we blogged about an old GH bonzer that made it's way into the shop with the mysterious intials G.C. (click me)The mysterious G.C is Greg Crosthwaite. The board is back in his possession. He says he loaned it to a buddy years ago and the board had been stolen. Closure!

Years ago, that says it all. Local surf shop means community surf shop. It is the spot on the corner you pass to go surf everyday, where the guy knows who you are and what board you ride. The shop guy, if he were to see you surf from any Southern California bluff, would recognize you just by your style of surfing. He´s the guy that knows something is odd about a board that mysteriously ends up at the shop and through some conections he has finds the true and original owner of the board. Viva Surfy Surfy!¡
