As featured in the Surfer magazine 2010 Board Buyer's Guide. Listed as a Speed Egg but I call it the GH Astro Pod. This puppy has a more pulled in outline than an egg so it will handle dropping tide beachbreaks. GH's Astro Bottom for water flow, control and speed. Modern performance rails and foil. Adjustable Lokbox fin system for travel and fin experimentation (shown here with Taylor Knox fins). Glassed with 4 oz and polished gloss for a well built, lightweight board. Nice soulful airbrush. A lot of surfboard companies will phone it in on boards like these but not GH. This is a board that takes the everyday working man surfer seriously. Carpe diem.6'2" x 20 1/2" x 2 5/8"
I'd feel better on a 6'4"+ since I'm an old slug - how big will that design go?
ReplyDeletehaha I was wondering how short that design would go (and is there a quad option?).
ReplyDelete6'1 , 205 , waiting on my first GH ASTRO EGG 7' , 21 , 2 7/8" was what GH recomended based on evrything i was looking for. cant wait - think it will be a great board to always have in the car.
ReplyDeleteAstro Pod range say, 5'8"-7'0"
ReplyDeleteA quad setup would work.
