I will never forget footage of Reno backside at Ala Moana on an early tri fin. Late 60's or very early 70's. It looked like amazing acceleration from his backside bottom turn. When I've thought about Bonzers I've always remembered that - maybe ordinary surfers get from the Bonzer what perhaps only Reno could get out of that old tri. Very cool to see Reno with Bonzers!
