that tail shape makes a lot of sense and i've been trying to figure out how to use it in a stubby/hull shape without totally ripping Tomo off!

OK, this is a real short story not a paid Tomo commercial: We had our first strong north swell down here in the Caribbean. Unfortunately, my 5'10 Tomo V 1 afterburner was being repaired (damned airlines). I finally got it back the last day when the swell started to decrease. I had the immediate sensation of driving a racy sportscar after driving only trucks for a while. The speed and freedom of movements are simply unbelievable. Best compromise of a fish and shorthboard ever. This is the FUTURE! Get one if you can, you will never regret it (BTW, some of those shapes will come my way in the upcoming weeks as I am addicted now).
