The building was built in 1926. It has been a market, bus station, hotel, several surf shops and a multitude of small businesses. For the last 20 years it has been the Longboard Grotto surf shop. My wife is heading up the current restoration. We are really stoked on this project!
Are you guys gonna stock real waterman gear, like SUP stuff from C4? I'm gonna need some new full traction pads for this winter. The wax from my 11'6" Parmenter is getting all over the roof of my Porsche Cayenne...
Any history on the building? The architecture has always struct me as kinda deco.
