This is the winning Caster Chris O'Rourke/Channel Hull replica from the 2008 Sacred Craft Expo shaped by Ricky Carroll. This board belongs to Sacred Craft organizer Scott Bass. My Dad gave Bassy permission to include the bamboo sidebite fins because Bill Caster would approve.

Even the airbrush is reminiscent of the glory days out off Miramar road. Why did it take so long to get this board to the glass shop?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful board. Bill would be proud.
Man, Peter don't mess around, do he?
ReplyDeleteRicky Carrol is the man. Too bad he's all the way in Florida. Can we trade DJ back for Ricky? For a place that has crappy waves, they have a lot of talented shapers.
ReplyDeleteThe Caster boards took a long time to finish for 2 reasons:
ReplyDeleteA. The owners trying to figure out color they wanted.
B. Getting good Caster logos that were in good enough condition to use.
